The Winflex coupling type T from CMD is suitable for transferring large forces and for shock loads. The coupling consists of two hubs with grease lubricated springs inserted between, and a casing with sealing rings fitted on the outside of the springs. The Winflex couplings are available in torque limits of up to 160,000 Nm and with a boring diameter of up to 270 mm. When the springs are worn out they can be replaced without dismantling the hubs, and you can avoid aligning the coupling when servicing the unit.
We stock Winflex couplings with an output torque of up to 24,000 Nm and with a boring diameter of up to 180 mm. Type TL is provided with extended hub.
