As of March 15th 2018, BJ-Gear has, as part of the strategy for continuing growth, acquired Ny Stenderup Maskinfabrik ApS.
Torben Pryds continues as the Chief Executive for Ny Stenderup Maskinfabrik ApS and together with his 7 co-workers he will continue the great service of their customers.
Ny Stenderup Maskinfabrik ApS is to stay at their current location, and will within their current business areas continue to develop as an independent subcontractor in close cooperation with existing and future customers.
Overall, the group will make a turnover for approximately MDKK 130 and employ approx. 90 employees divided between sales, development, production and administration.
According to CEO Flemming Graversgaard the acquisition will strengthen both companies. For BJ-Gear the acquisition of Ny Stenderup Maskinfabrik will mean that the company in the future will be able to offer an even wider programme of quality products. Besides the extensive programme within gearboxes and actuators, the customers are now able to get complete deliveries including traditional subcontracting work within gearing, turning and milling. For Ny Stenderup Maskinfabrik, the acquisition will strengthen the company's organisation and competencies within sales, development, production and quality. Similarly, customers will also benefit from the products marketed in the BJ-Gear programme.
